After Pon and Volkswagen Financial Services acquired ownership in 2015, the company underwent great renewal and introduced a new website, new app, and new subscription forms. Furthermore, the company has expanded its fleet to 1,700 vehicles. Due to these innovations Greenwheels has enjoyed a growth of 43% in 1.5 years and is able to create more and more new space in cities across the Netherlands. Novel is directing the PR-strategy in light of the 'new' Greenwheels. Novel advises Greenwheels in the field of media relations and approaches business- and automotive media concerning the story of the ‘new’ Greenwheels.
The campaign for Greenwheels got national attention with coverage in newspapers and magazines, on radio and television, in the blogosphere and on social media.
