In light of the IDFA annual festival, Novel will support IDFA in its search for a new strategy aimed at millennials, which forms a key audience for the organisation. Primarily, IDFA wants to show this generation what the festival has to offer them. ‘We selected Novel to help us develop a new strategy in order to reach more adolescents with our festival. In terms of our programme, we have many films that would be received well by this younger audience; we would like to draw more attention to those movies,’ stated Cees van ‘t Hullenaar, business director of IDFA. Novel is excited to be working with IDFA because of the global societal impact of the festival and additional events. This year’s festival will be the 30th edition, and will take place from 15-26th of November 2017.
